About me

Hi there!

My name is Kelly. I’m a qualified counsellor and psychotherapist offering a calm, supportive space where you can talk freely and feel genuinely listened to. I know starting therapy can feel daunting, so I work in a way that’s gentle, collaborative, and led by what you need.

I use a pluralistic approach, drawing from CBT, person-centred, and psychodynamic therapy, which means we can explore both what’s happening for you right now and where it may come from. Whether you’re feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or just needing space to think and breathe, we’ll work together at your pace, with warmth, honesty, and care.

People come to counselling for many different reasons. You might be experiencing anxiety, low mood, relationship difficulties, loss or simply feeling stuck.  Sometimes you dont know what it is thats wrong, and you just know something doesnt feel right.

Together we can gently explore what is it that is going on for you. I work with the belief that people deserve a space where you don't have to pretend you are coping.

If you are thinking about counselling and would like to see how it feels to talk. You are welcome to get in touch. I offer a free 15 minute phone call consultation to go over any questions you have about therapy. And get to know a little about how I can help with the feelings you are experiencing.

I offer face to face sesssions in the comfort of my therapy room in Broxburn or online via teams. Whichever works best for you. :-)
