About me

Reclaiming You Therapy
Does it feel like you’re constantly ‘treading treacle’ just to keep up with a world that wasn't built for your brain?

Perhaps you are currently stuck in ADHD paralysis, staring at a never-ending to-do list while executive dysfunction makes the smallest task feel like a marathon. Maybe you’re navigating the deep, chronic exhaustion of neurodivergent burnout, struggling with sensory overload, or the hidden emotional pain of Rejection Sensitivity Dysphoria (RSD).

When you’ve spent years masking just to fit in, only to feel like you’re still falling short of the "adulting" standard, it’s easy to feel broken. If you take one thing from your visit here today, I hope it is this: You are not broken, and you don’t have to do this alone.

A Neuro-affirming Space in Teesside
I created Reclaiming You Therapy to be a supportive space where you can unmask and learn to stop fighting against yourself and start working with your brain.

I am a dedicated CBT Therapist with 15 years of combined NHS experience in CBT and Occupational Therapy. My practice is built on the belief that self-trust is your most vital resource. So often, we treat ourselves like a problem to be solved rather than a person to be understood. My goal is to help you bridge the gap between who you are and how you treat yourself.

Why Combine CBT with ADHD/AuDHD Support?
When you live with ADHD or AuDHD, you often grow up receiving a lifetime of judgement—being told you’re "lazy," "too much," or "not trying hard enough." This creates a relentless "hamster wheel" of stress and the core belief that you are simply not good enough.

While coaching is a brilliant tool for the "how-to" of daily life, it often doesn't reach the deep-seated shame or the "imposter" feelings.

Coaching helps you find the practical strategies to navigate your day.
CBT helps you challenge and transform the negative beliefs you’ve built about yourself and the world.

Lived Experience & Professional Expertise
I don’t just work from a textbook. I truly understand the complexities of the neurodivergent mind and the cycle of grief and relief that comes with a late diagnosis, having received my own ADHD diagnosis at 38.

This personal insight, combined with my clinical background, allows me to help you dismantle the shame of feeling "different." My focus isn't to "fix" your brain; instead, we will work together to befriend your system, regulate your nervous system, and manage sensory overwhelm.
