About me
Katie Westbury, Person-Centred Counsellor
Welcome to Graceful Therapy
I’m a person-centred counsellor who offers time to talk things through when life or relationships feel complicated. This might be because anxiety feels overwhelming, your self-confidence has taken a knock, or your relationships feel difficult to navigate.
I believe people can find their own way forward, particularly when they begin to notice patterns that may have gone unseen. My role is to be actively involved in that process, offering a different perspective while staying alongside you and accepting you as you are.
Couples & Relational Therapy
I specialise in couples and relationship work and am currently completing my Level 5 Diploma in Couples Counselling and Relational Therapy.
I am currently accepting new clients for couples and relationship counselling, with sessions offered at a reduced rate as part of my training.
I also work with individuals, though I am currently operating a waitlist for individual counselling. Please get in touch to discuss how I can support you.
What to Expect
Sessions are shaped around what you bring and what feels most important to focus on. I work in a way that is collaborative and thoughtful, offering space to reflect and make sense of what’s happening for you.

Training, qualifications & experience
I currently hold a Level 4 Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling and am completing a Level 5 Diploma in Couples and Relational Counselling.
Alongside my private practice, I work with an LGBTQ+ and GSRD charity, supporting individuals with issues relating to sexuality and gender identity and self-esteem. I also have experience supporting clients with the emotional impact of disability, including experiences of grief, loss, and changes in identity.
I have a particular interest in working with power and power dynamics within relationships, which informs my relational and couples work.
