About me

Are you someone who has experienced trauma, maybe rooted in childhood experiences, such as neglect, abuse or parental separation? Is this impacting on how you feel and your relationships? Are you navigating significant life events, like divorce, parenthood or career transitions and feel a sense of disconnection from your true self or partner? Are you struggling with self-esteem, often questioning your worth? Do you feel anxious?

I am an accredited psychotherapist (MBACP) in Buckingham (MK18). I help adults recover from childhood neglect, parental separation and relational patterns that leave you anxious, disconnected or stuck. Working relationally within a person‑centred, attachment‑informed framework, I create a safe, non‑judgemental space to map how early experiences shape current feelings and relationships.

We combine emotion‑focused exploration to access and process core feelings with practical CBT strategies to reduce symptoms and build new ways of coping.

Therapy is collaborative and paced to you — we clarify goals, practise skills between sessions, and track small changes so you feel steadier and more in control. I offer in‑person and online sessions, including evening appointments.

BACP

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
