About me
Hi, I’m Katie
I’m a qualified and passionate integrative counsellor, committed to supporting people through life’s challenges so they can lead more fulfilling, meaningful lives.
As an integrative counsellor, I use a mix of different therapeutic approaches because I believe there's no one-size-fits-all when it comes to therapy. The core of my work is person-centred therapy which means you’re always at the centre of the process. I may also bring in other approaches, like CBT, when it feels helpful and supportive for your needs. I have experience working with a range of difficulties such as anxiety, attachment, low self esteem, body image, depression, feeling stuck, stress and relationship issues.
No two people are the same, so our sessions will always be shaped around you—your experiences, your pace, and what you want to explore.
I understand from personal experience how overwhelming it can feel to find the right counsellor. Opening up can be daunting—but you’re not alone in feeling that way. That’s why I believe in taking the time to build a safe, welcoming space where you feel heard and supported.
At the heart of my approach is the therapeutic relationship. I believe the connection we build together is the foundation for healing, growth, and self-exploration.
I offer both in-person and online sessions, with flexibility for short-term or long-term therapy depending on what feels right for you.
