About me
I offer warm, down to earth, experienced support in a calm space where you can feel heard, understood and accepted as you are. I care deeply about helping people make sense of what they’re going through, develop tools that truly work for them, and build a stronger sense of self and wellbeing in everyday life.
I work in an integrative, person-centred way, tailoring therapy to you as an individual. Alongside a holistic understanding of your thoughts, feelings and experiences, I draw on CBT tools and techniques to support meaningful change.
I support clients with anxiety, stress, low mood, relationship difficulties, overthinking and feelings of being stuck, alongside a broad range of other emotional, relational and personal issues. Together, we can make sense of what’s going on and find practical ways to help you feel more grounded, confident and in control.
Sessions are held online, giving you the flexibility to access support from the comfort of your own space.
You’re free to bring whatever feels important, working at your own pace. If you’d like to see whether we’re a good fit, feel free to get in touch to arrange a free, no-obligation consultation.

Training, qualifications & experience
I have over 15 years’ experience working within the healthcare sector, where I supported individuals facing a wide range of complex and challenging mental and physical health issues. This has shaped my calm, compassionate approach and I welcome clients from all backgrounds.
I qualified as a counsellor in 2019, going on to complete further training as a Cognitive Behavioural Therapist. In 2024, I further developed my practice by qualifying as a Clinical Supervisor.
As an integrative counsellor, I believe there is no single approach that suits everyone. I draw on a range of therapeutic models to provide a tailored approach that meets your individual needs.
Alongside my private practice, I work within several Employee Assistance Programme's supporting individuals with a variety of emotional and wellbeing challenges. I have also worked with YMCA Bournemouth, initially as a volunteer counsellor (2020) and later as part of the staff counselling team until May 2026.
I am a registered member of the BACP and work in accordance with its ethical framework for good practice.

Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
