About me
Hello, I’m a qualified person-centred, integrative counsellor and Registered Member of the British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists (BACP).
My approach assures a warm welcome into a safe, confidential, empathic and non-judgemental space, where your needs, concerns and aspirations are heard, valued and focused on, at a pace and in a way that best suits you.
Being integrative means that I draw upon and offer appropriate recognised theories, modalities and creative strategies to raise awareness, discover new perspectives and increase understanding of who you are, your unique circumstances and any changes you wish to make.
I am trauma-informed and experienced in working with common mental health issues and can share proven techniques and skills to enable self-support in times of crisis, for when life feels overwhelming.
An area of specialist interest for me is working together to recognise unhealthy patterns and break cycles of generational trauma, enabling you to move forward and create a life that fulfils your potential.
My practice is holistic, enabling us to explore how the human mind works and gain an understanding of how the connection between mind and body specifically impacts you.
From lived experience, I have an interest in counselling clients with issues related to infertility, loss and early parenting. I am a registered member of the British Infertility Counselling Association (BICA).
As a person-centred counsellor, I listen, reflect and walk beside you as you make sense of significant life changes, and/or the events that have brought you to counselling. My goal is to empower you to make the choices that are right for you.
I offer an initial FREE, no obligation, 15-minute telephone consultation to explore your needs and ensure that we are a good match to achieve your goals.

Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
