About me

Hi, I'm a Counselling Psychologist registered with the Health Professions Council (HCPC) and have worked in the NHS for many years in a range of settings. I am based in London Bridge.

I work with individuals and couples on a range of issues around anxiety, stress, low mood, low self esteem, eating disorders and trauma. I am trained in a range of psychological therapies. I most often work using cognitive behavioural therapy, schema therapy, narrative/systemic therapy, compassion focused therapy or EMDR.

I will always tailor my consultations to an individual's needs and wishes.

When I meet with people for an initial consultation we explore your emotional health, think together about what psychological therapy could offer you and what progress you can expect to make. Following this it is your decision about whether you wish to proceed. If we do agree to work together we would agree goals of our work and a timeline for this. These goals will then be reviewed periodically to see how we're progressing.

Training, qualifications & experience

I am a British Psychological Society (BPS) Chartered Counselling Psychologist (CPsychol) and a Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) Registered Counselling Psychologist. I have done further training in Schema therapy and have gained accreditation as a Schema Therapist.

I worked for many years within the NHS. I have been part of Eating Disorders Teams, Adult Mental Heath and within a Child & Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS).

As well as my private practice I am a lecturer at City University on the PsychD Counselling Psychology.

You can contact the Counsellor to discuss the options available.

Under the Equality Act 2010 service providers have a duty to make reasonable adjustments to ensure that individuals with disabilities can access their service. You can read more about reasonable adjustments to help you to access services on the CAB website.
