About me
Feeling you might be losing sight of who you thought you were since an unexpected change happened?
Sometimes, life shifts overnight. Other times, it’s a slow, quiet build-up of family stress, heavy responsibilities, or a diagnosis that makes you question everything. If you are navigating a difficult transition, a stressful family situation, or coping with anxiety and bereavement, you might feel like you are holding it all together on the outside while struggling on the inside.
Having spent years meeting expectations, it is easy to lose yourself. Counselling offers a calm, steady space to discover what really matters to you, rather than trying to fit an "off-the-peg" version of a good life.
I’m here to help you uncover the pieces of your life and experience, understand what is happening beneath the surface, and find calmer, more grounded ways forward.
How therapy can help
Together, we will work to help you:
- Recognise your self-worth and find your own solid ground, so you can manage without worrying day by day.
- Feel more centred and able to respond to life rather than just react, so you can cope with the many demands on your life.
- Explore how family dynamics, stress, or relationship patterns affect you, so you can be calm coping with handling family conflict.
- Gain self-understanding and courage to decide on and take the next step.
About me & my practice
My path to becoming a therapist was shaped by my own life experiences. Having navigated my own profound grief, and with a background supporting new parents and working briefly in family law, I understand the deep emotional pain that life transitions bring.
These experiences have shaped how I work: with warmth, curiosity, and respect for the unique path each person has travelled.
I also bring nine years of experience counselling in schools (supporting families through neurodiversity, youth anxiety, and bereavement) alongside over four years of experience working with adults facing burnout, relationship strain, and emotional exhaustion.
Whatever has brought you here, my aim is to offer a thoughtful, compassionate space where you can make sense of what you're experiencing and find a way forward that feels right for you.

Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
