Hi, my name is Kate Gough and I am a person-centred counsellor. I hold a CPCAB level 4 diploma in Therapeutic Counselling and am registered with the National counselling & Psychotherapy Society (NCPS).
I am passionate about supporting people in developing a deeper understanding of themselves and how their minds work. As a person-centred counsellor, I believe you are the expert on yourself - even if it doesn't feel that way right now.
Through our work together, my aim is to help you reconnect with who you are, or perhaps begin discovering what truly feels right for you. I offer a supportive and genuine therapeutic relationship built on empathy, congruence (genuineness), and unconditional positive regard.

In 2013 the NCS register was accredited by the Professional Standards Authority under the Accredited Voluntary Register Scheme. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
