About me
Feeling lost or unsure of yourself can be unsettling. You might be trying to keep going on the outside, while inside it feels as though something has changed. Perhaps you’re feeling overwhelmed, anxious, stuck, or simply not like yourself anymore — even if you can’t fully explain why. If this sounds familiar, you’re not alone, and you don’t have to work through it by yourself.
I’m a warm, steady, person‑centred counsellor based in Paisley. I support adults who feel lost, disconnected from themselves, or weighed down by stress, anxiety or loss. Many of the people I work with are coming to counselling for the first time, so I make the process gentle, clear and as comfortable as possible.
How I can help
People often come to me when they’re experiencing:
- Feeling lost or unsure who they are anymore
- Stress, Overwhelm or burnout
- Anxiety or constant worry
- Greif, loss or life changes
- A sense of "I don't feel like myself"
You don’t need a diagnosis or a clear label for what you’re feeling. If something doesn’t feel right and you’d like support, that’s enough.
My approach
I work in a person‑centred way, which means our sessions move at your pace. You choose what feels safe to talk about, and there’s no pressure to share anything before you’re ready. My role is to listen closely, offer understanding, and help you make sense of what feels confusing.
There’s no jargon, no judgement, and no expectation to “perform” or be okay. Just a calm, space where you can explore what’s happening for you.
What to expect
Sessions are gentle, steady and focused on what matters to you. Many people tell me they feel relief simply from having space to talk openly for the first time in a long time.
Together, we can explore:
- What’s been weighing on you
- How stress or anxiety is affecting your day-to-day life
- Why you don't feel like you anymore
- What you need to feel more grounded and supported
Counselling isn’t about fixing you — you’re not broken. It’s about understanding yourself more deeply and finding a way forward that feels right for you.

Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.

Further information
If you’re not sure whether counselling is the right step for you, you’re still very welcome to get in touch with me. Many people reach out simply to ask questions or get a sense of what working together might look and feel like, and there’s no need to have the “right” words or a clear plan before contacting me.
When you send a message, I’ll respond as soon as I can. From there, we can look at what you’re hoping for, explore what support might be helpful, and talk through any questions you may have. There’s no pressure to commit — just a calm, steady space to see what feels right for you.
