About me
Hello, my name is Kane (pronouns: he/him).
Are you feeling anxious and overwhelmed by your emotions or struggling to understand and accept them? Do you feel stuck in life, unsure of how to move forward? Are past experiences continuing to impact your present, or are you questioning your identity and place in the world?
Whatever brings you to therapy, I offer a safe, compassionate, and non-judgmental space where you can explore your feelings and make sense of your challenges. I understand that seeking therapy can be a daunting experience, which is why I strive to create an environment built on kindness, empathy, and openness. Together, we will explore your life experiences and work toward healing and self-discovery.
I am a BACP-registered Integrative Counsellor and Psychotherapist based in North London, offering both in-person and online sessions. My practice is informed by a deep respect for diversity, and I have experience working with individuals from various cultural backgrounds, sexualities, and gender identities.
With extensive training in integrative psychotherapy, I help clients build self-confidence, develop a strong sense of self, and foster trust in both themselves and others. I work with individuals facing a wide range of challenges, including anxiety, depression, stress, relational conflicts, neurodiversity, identity exploration (including sexuality and gender), and finding a sense of belonging.
My approach is holistic and relational, meaning therapy is a collaborative process where we work together, taking into account your physical, emotional, and social wellbeing. I strive to create a supportive, non-judgmental space where we can explore your struggles at a pace that feels comfortable for you. The goal is to help you gain insight, build confidence, and make meaningful steps toward healing and personal growth.
Drawing from a variety of therapeutic modalities, I tailor each session to your individual needs, ensuring that the techniques and resources we use are aligned with your goals. This personalised approach helps create a unique and effective therapeutic experience.
The approaches that inform my practice include
• Humanistic
• Psychodynamic
• Attachment-based
• GSRD (Gender, Sexuality, and Relationship Diversity) Therapy
• Relational Therapy
I have worked with clients on a wide range of issues, including anxiety, depression, family dynamics, identity concerns (including sexuality and gender), addiction (substances, sex, and pornography), grief, anger, and self-esteem.
My experience spans the charity sector, where I have provided general counselling services and specialised LGBTQ+ support. Additionally, I have spent four years working in a specialised LGBTQ+ drug and alcohol service, with a focus on Chemsex support, offering one-on-one guidance for those navigating discovery and recovery.
What to expect when working with me:
• Sessions are 50 minutes long and can be conducted face-to-face or online.
• We will meet weekly, with flexibility for short-term or long-term/open-ended therapy.
• Before our first session, I offer a free 20-minute consultation where we can discuss your goals for therapy and I can answer any questions you may have.
Fees:
• Standard fee: £70 per 50-minute session.
• Concessionary fee: I offer a limited number of low-cost therapy slots, available based on personal circumstances, at £50 per session (online only).
I aim to respond to all inquiries within 24 hours, though please allow up to 48 hours during busy periods.

Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
