About me

My areas of expertise are menopause, bereavement, loss, neurodiversity, sexuality, stress, anxiety, depression, spirituality. If you need empathic and non-judgemental space where you can explore your difficulties, I am here for you.

I work with menopausal women to demystify and make sense of their transition.

I support people in bereavement and loss of any kind by offering a safe space to express all emotions, including the ones we usually shield our loved ones from.

I have experience of working with neurodiverse persons, particularly ADHD.

I will support you to take a look at your past and get more understanding how it influences your present thinking, feeling and behaviour. I can support you to learn self-compassion, gain awareness of your strengths, make good use of them and work towards a positive change.

I am trauma-informed counsellor, and my practice is LGBTQIA+ affirming and inclusive.

I am also a believer in non-violent communication and often use this approach in my work.

I am interested in what you want to change and will go alongside you to achieve it.

Training, qualifications & experience

I hold Diploma in Counselling using Transactional Analysis. Transactional Analysis is a humanistic approach which main principles are that everyone is OK, we all have capacity to think, and change is possible.

I am registered with Counselling and Psychotherapy in Scotland (COSCA) and a member of the UK Association for Transactional Analysis (UKATA).
