About me
You don’t need to have everything figured out before starting therapy. People come to me for many different reasons. Sometimes life feels overwhelming, relationships become difficult, or there is a particular event that has left its mark. At other times, there may simply be a growing sense that something isn’t quite right.
Whatever brings you here, therapy offers space to slow down, make sense of your experiences and understand yourself more clearly without needing to pretend, perform or have all the answers.
I’m an integrative counsellor grounded in person-centred values and guided by curiosity rather than judgement. Together, we’ll explore what has been happening, what may have shaped the way you experience life and what feels important to you now. I won’t tell you how you should live or who you should be. Instead, we’ll work collaboratively, drawing on different therapeutic approaches where they genuinely support your needs.
I work with adults experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma and PTSD, bereavement, low self-esteem, relationship difficulties and significant changes in life. I also have experience supporting people affected by domestic, narcissistic, emotional and physical abuse.
I have experience supporting people affected by domestic, narcissistic, emotional and physical abuse, as well as people living with bipolar disorder. My practice is also welcoming of LGBTQ+ people, people living with HIV, and those exploring sexuality, kink or consensual non-monogamy. These parts of your identity or relationships won’t be judged or treated as problems in themselves.
Therapy isn’t about having all the answers. Often, understanding yourself more clearly can help you recognise choices and find your own way forward.
You don’t need to be certain that therapy is the right step before getting in touch. I offer a free 15-minute introductory conversation where you can ask questions, get a sense of how I work and decide whether working together feels right for you. Sessions are available face-to-face in Rugby and online across the UK.
