About me
Hello! and welcome to my profile,
If you are going through difficult and tough times and are struggling to cope or feel overwhelmed and stuck, then a therapist you can trust may be what you need. You don’t have to deal with anxiety, depression, unhappy relationships or the impact of the past on your own.
Sometimes, events or accidents happen unexpectedly and are traumatic, or the outcome of decisions we make are disappointing or relationships with others are difficult or fail. Our life can become filled with anxiety, depression and as we spiral down, we can feel hopeless and lose sight of who we are and we can feel lost and not know how to bring about change.
I am a Masters trained, qualified psychotherapist, counsellor and coach with over 16 years of clinical experience. I co-founded the Head Agenda clinic and work with adult individuals and couple clients. My clients bring many different problems and struggles and can feel weighed down with issues that feel overwhelming. We are all unique and therapy must be tailor made to each client. I listen empathically and without judgement and will attune to your needs and what you seek as you embark on the therapeutic journey.
I believe that counselling can make a difference and working with the right therapist can offer the opportunity for hope that life can be better. It is possible to change habits, gain more control in your life, build self-esteem and for healing to take place and life to change for the better. As a result, it is possible for you to make new choices and change old ways of being that have caused difficulties that may have lead to anxiety, depression and other problems.
At the heart of my work is the relationship that I build with each client. It is important that you feel safe and that you can trust me. I am understanding, empathic and will listen and not judge.
We can work for a few sessions or over a longer period of time. The length of therapy will depend on your needs, wishes and the issues that you bring. I will always try to work in ways and at a pace that are appropriate to you and your story.
I work face to face at Head Agenda in Park Place in Leeds City Centre and also conduct sessions online. I am also experienced in working with clients online.

Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).
Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.
Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.
All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
