Level 5 Psychotherapeutic Counsellor Prof.Dip.Psy.C

About me

Hello and thank you for taking the time to read through my profile. A little bit about myself, I am a Level 5 Psychotherapeutic Counsellor Prof.Dip.Psy.C. I am pluralistically trained (Psychodynamic, Person-Centred and CBT- Cognitive Behavioural Therapy) which allows me to work closely with individuals, covering all aspects of therapy which may include uncovering the source of a person's issues, working with the client at their pace with which they feel comfortable along with developing coping strategies moving forward to provide a fully comprehensive service tailored to the needs of the client.

It also enables me to provide a confidential environment for the client to feel SAFE, SECURE and be HEARD. To feel you can trust a therapist is by far one of the greatest obstacles/rewards people seeking therapy can face and find. I aim to offer and wish to extend to each and every client a place of safety, security and the chance to be heard.

Quite often in life we find ourselves operating from a place of survival rather than a place of peace and contentment. Discovering more as to the reason why and working towards improving upon such learnt behaviours and coping mechanisms can be tremendously gratifying. Obtaining a greater understanding and having the opportunity to fully explore difficult thoughts, feelings and emotions is something I both professionally and personally feel is so very important in order for us to maintain positive mental health and wellbeing.

Embarking on the journey of therapy can mean different things to different people. Whatever you feel you may need from speaking to a counsellor, I would be very happy to discuss.

Ultimately, finding the right therapist and one which is best suited is paramount to the overall experience you receive. Please do get in touch if you feel I can be of help.
