About me
Are you struggling with anxiety, low mood and overwhelm maybe as a neurodivergent individual? In your relationships are you finding yourselves stuck in the same patterns of conflict or misunderstanding? I offer a warm, non-judgemental space where you can explore your experiences at your own pace, gain a deeper understanding of yourself and each other in couples work, and work towards building greater self-awareness, confidence, connection, and lasting change. I have helped adults, couples, parents and young people with a therapy-based approach, sometimes blended with a coaching and psycho-education theme as suits.
As a Pluralistic counsellor, I draw on a range of therapeutic approaches to best support my clients. I work in a person-centred way, prioritising open communication and ensuring we agree on an approach that feels comfortable for you. I aim to create a listening, supportive and safe space for you to explore the issues, worries and challenges on your mind.
If you are struggling right now, feel ready to take the first step and consider that my background and experience might be helpful to you please do get in touch. I offer both online sessions and in-person counselling in North Hertfordshire, over the short or longer term.
Training, qualifications & experience
I have a Diploma in Psychotherapeutic Counselling, a CPCAB award in Couples Counselling and an Association for Coaching certificate in Coaching for Counsellors. I have a certificate in the National Autism Training Programme (NATP)
I have worked supporting and advocating for individuals and families with a neurodivergent family member/s, helping navigate the systems and processes to ensure they can access services. The impact on mental health and resilience is considerable and I am passionate about supporting families to help them on their journey. I believe counselling and coaching can play a key part in that journey.
