About me
You answer every email, meet every deadline, and always say yes when really you should be saying no. From the outside it looks like coping. Inside it can be a tight chest, a mind that won't switch off in bed, and a quiet worry that sooner or later someone will notice you're not as capable as they think.
I offer online counselling for adults across the UK. People often come to me for help with anxiety, burnout, perfectionism, self-esteem, and imposter syndrome. For some, this shows up as a loss of motivation, feeling emotionally flat, or depression. It often starts during a major life transition, or when workplace pressure finally tips over into something you can't manage alone.
How we will work together
My approach combines psychodynamic and person-centred therapy. In practical terms, this means we will slow things down and look closely at what happens in the moments you start to spiral, shut down, or push your feelings away. We will make sense of the hidden patterns and triggers underneath, keeping our sessions focused on what actually creates a shift.
I have spent eight years supporting students and staff in UK and US universities, so I know how high-pressure environments shape the way people doubt themselves.
The aim isn't just temporary symptom management. Our goal is to understand what is driving the anxiety or low mood, help you build steadier self-worth, and give you a sense of choice in how you respond to life's pressures.
Taking the next step
I know reaching out can feel daunting. If you're unsure whether therapy is right for you, I offer a free 15-minute video introduction call so we can meet and you can ask any questions.
You can use the "Book intro call" button above, or send me an email. I reply to all enquiries within 24 hours on weekdays.

Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
