About me
"How are you?"
"Fine"
"All good"
"Not bad"
Have you been asked this question and given a similar response?
You've been putting a mask on for too long, trying to keep it together and be a 'man'.
But now keeping that mask on is becoming harder and harder.
OR if you haven't had a mask up but really need help now...I'm here.
I specialise in working with men and know the power of having someone to talk with and not be judged in return, no matter what it is you're facing. I know because I've experienced it myself and I've seen countless clients experience the same thing. This balanced with healthy challenge can really make for lasting change.
I believe in the power of therapy and have a 3 step process I work through (although know that the timeline and process varies greatly depending on the client).
- Awareness
You can't work through something you're not entirely aware of yet, so first finding what is really bring you to therapy is key. - Acceptance
Many men can deny what is really happening in their heads or lives and so truly accepting where you are at is vital to really changing both now and in the long term. - Action
All change requires action. As beneficial as our sessions will be, there is a lot more life to live than just therapy and so knowing how to action what you've become aware of and accepted will change your life entirely.
I'm sure you will see change, feel lighter and learn to love life through our sessions and would love to help you in any way I can.
