About me

Many of us struggle at times and need help to navigate life’s challenges. I work in a structured, compassionate and supportive way to help you overcome overwhelming emotions such as anxiety, depression, anger, jealousy, guilt and shame, and find greater clarity and fulfilment.

My approach will help you make these complex issues more manageable and we can start to address them bit by bit. I will share insights, offer practical strategies and work with you to access your own inner resources, take action and make real changes in your life.

As a qualified CBT/REBT (Rational Emotive Behavioural) Therapist, I offer effective, evidence-based treatments for - Emotional or mood problems such as anxiety, depression, anger management, jealousy, guilt and shame, - Low self-esteem and confidence - OCD, panic attacks, phobias, performance anxiety - Family, relationship or work issues.

Emotional and life problems can often feel impossible to overcome. But there is a solution and you can have more control than you might think over your emotional life and how you respond to life’s challenges. If you would like to have an informal chat about working together, please email or call for a free 20 min consultation.

I welcome clients from all backgrounds and am LGBTQ+ inclusive.

Sessions can either be in person (in south Manchester) or online.

Training, qualifications & experience

I hold an Advanced Diploma (with Distinction) in Integrative Cognitive Behavioural and Rational Emotive Behavioural Therapy (CBT / REBT) and am an Accredited Registrant of the National Counselling and Psychotherapy Society. The key understanding of REBT is that whilst we can't always control the things that happen in our lives, we can, with practice, change how we respond to them to help us achieve our goals and live happier lives.

I also integrate a range of other approaches tailored according to your needs, including Action and Commitment Therapy, Compassion Focused Therapy, Mindfulness Based CBT, and Solution Focused Therapy.

I work in a structured, action oriented and compassionate way to help you work on emotional problems, personal development and growth. We will work collaboratively and move beyond talking into supporting you to take action and make real changes in your life.
