PgDip, BA(Hons), MBACP Integrative Psychotherapist

About me

I’m an Integrative Counsellor and Psychotherapist offering a calm, supportive space where you can talk openly, without fear of judgement. My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and inclusive - helping you explore what’s going on beneath the surface and work towards lasting change.

How Counselling Can Help
Many of the people I work with describe feeling stuck, overwhelmed, anxious, or disconnected from themselves or others. Therapy can help you begin to make sense of those feelings and develop new ways of understanding and relating to yourself.

Whether you're struggling with low self-esteem, overthinking, relationship challenges, or questions around identity, counselling can provide a safe space to explore your experience and move forward with greater clarity, self-trust, and emotional resilience.

Areas I Work With
I work with adults from all backgrounds and have particular interest in:

  • Anxiety and worry
  • Low self-esteem and self-criticism
  • Overthinking and rumination
  • Relationship and attachment issues
  • Identity, belonging, and life direction
  • LGBTQ+ experiences
  • Shame, internalised beliefs, and trauma

LGBTQ+ Affirmative Therapy
I have specialist experience working with gay men and LGBTQ+ clients. My approach is inclusive, affirming, and trauma-aware - creating a space where all parts of you are welcome. We may explore the impact of early experiences, internalised messages, shame, or feeling unseen. Therapy can support you in finding a deeper connection with who you are and what matters to you.

What to Expect in Your First Session
Your first session is a chance for us to meet, talk about what’s bringing you to therapy, and see how it feels to work together. There’s no pressure to commit - it's about getting a sense of whether this feels like the right space for you.

You’re welcome to ask questions and take your time. We’ll explore what you’d like support with and what you’re hoping for from therapy. Some people come with a clear goal; others just know something doesn’t feel right. Either way, we’ll start where you are.

Locations and Availability
I offer therapy both online and in person. In-person sessions take place at comfortable and accessible spaces in London Bridge and King’s Cross.

Appointments are available on weekdays and I work with clients both short-term and open-ended depending on your needs.

Training, qualifications & experience

I hold a Diploma in Integrative Counselling and a Postgraduate Diploma in Counselling and Psychotherapy. My training is integrative, which means I draw on a range of approaches - including psychodynamic, person-centred, and compassion-focused models - tailored to suit each client.

I am a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and adhere to their ethical framework for good practice.

In addition to my private practice, I have worked in low-cost counselling services, supporting a wide range of clients with issues including anxiety, trauma, low self-worth, and long-standing emotional difficulties.

I regularly undertake professional development to deepen and enhance my practice. This includes specialist training in working with LGBTQ+ clients, shame, and relational trauma.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

Accredited register membership

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy
Accredited Register Scheme

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
