About me
I offer therapy for men facing gambling, addiction, and relationship struggles. Many of the men I work with are struggling quietly—often holding things together on the outside while things feel very different underneath
On the surface things might look fine, but underneath there can be pressure, shame, or a sense of things slipping out of control.
I offer a space where you can talk openly without judgement and start to understand what’s really driving these patterns, so things can begin to change in a way that actually lasts.
I have experience working across a range of addictions, including gambling and compulsive behaviours, as well as the impact these can have on partners and family life. I also work with anxiety, relationship difficulties, and patterns that often sit underneath addictive cycles.
My approach is grounded, straightforward, and focused on helping you make sense of what’s going on—not just managing symptoms, but understanding the deeper drivers.
Where family or child support is needed, I can also connect you with a trusted art psychotherapist who specialises in working with children and families, so support can be in place more broadly if needed.
To get started, I invite you to reach out to me at 07790 339517 or email thegardenpractice98@gmail.com to schedule an initial session. During this session, we will discuss your needs, goals, and expectations from counselling. If you feel comfortable continuing, we can then schedule regular sessions weekly 07790-339517

For many years I worked with a homeless charity helping homeless people refocus and regain their lives from many of life's challenges,13 years ago I was responsible for setting up a project for the homeless, this project was to be an engagement tool to help motivate and encourage clients to believe in themselves and address the issues they had that stopped them from moving on with their lives. At present I work with a multi disciplinary team within a specialist private treatment center for people with addiction issues as an addiction therapist but much of my work, experience and training is generic meaning I work with many other issues that clients present.
Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
