About me
Hello, and welcome.
I know first-hand how difficult life can feel at times, and how hard it can be to make sense of what’s going on inside. Reaching out for support isn’t always easy, and just getting to this point can take a lot.
You might be looking for support with anxiety, low mood, feeling stuck, relationship difficulties, or simply a sense that something isn’t quite right. Sometimes it’s hard to put into words, and that’s okay.
I work with clients from the person-centred model. This means I will offer you a warm, gentle and non-judgemental space where you can speak openly and be truly heard. I won’t tell you what to do, but I will work alongside you to help you better understand yourself, your experiences, and what matters most to you. I believe that when we feel safe enough to explore what’s going on for us, change can begin to happen naturally.
You don’t have to have everything figured out before starting counselling. We can take things at your pace and begin wherever feels right for you.
Counselling can help you gain clarity, understand yourself more deeply, and begin to move towards the changes you want in your life.
Sessions
I offer both online and face-to-face counselling sessions, in a calm and confidential setting. Sessions provide a dedicated time where you can focus on yourself and whatever feels most important to talk about.
What next?
If what you’ve read resonates with you, I warmly encourage you to get in touch for a brief initial conversation before arranging a first session. This can be a chance to ask any questions and see whether working together feels like the right fit.
Location
In person sessions are offered in a quiet and comfortable space in Burgess Hill town centre, with nearby parking and a short walk from the train station.

Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
