About me

Are You Struggling with Anxiety, Low Mood, or Relationship Challenges?

Do you often feel overwhelmed or find it difficult to cope with life’s demands? Are you experiencing intense worry, fear, or apprehension about future events, such as a social gathering or a work commitment? Perhaps you struggle with racing intrusive thoughts, excessive rumination, or difficulty concentrating. Do you find yourself saying “yes” when you wish you dared to say “no”?

If this sounds familiar, therapy can provide the support you need.

I offer a safe, confidential, and non-judgmental space where you can openly express your feelings and work through your challenges. Together, we can identify the specific triggers that contribute to your anxiety or low mood, helping you gain clarity about your past and take meaningful steps forward.

In our sessions, I can help you:

*Understand and manage your emotions more effectively.
*Develop practical tools to calm your anxiety, enabling you to regain control over your thoughts and feelings.
*Build self-confidence and cultivate a greater sense of self-worth.
*Navigate life’s challenges with resilience and clarity.

Therapy is a valuable journey toward self-awareness and empowerment, one I have taken myself. Let’s work together to help you feel more confident, balanced, and in control of your life..

As a fully qualified integrative counsellor and a registered member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP), I specialise in helping clients manage anxiety, improve their mood, and navigate relationship challenges. I offer a compassionate and non-judgmental space where you can explore your thoughts and feelings, understand your patterns of behavior, and develop strategies to cope more effectively.

My integrative approach means I tailor our work together to suit your individual needs, drawing from a range of therapeutic techniques to ensure you feel heard, supported, and empowered. Whether you’re seeking relief from persistent worry, greater confidence in setting boundaries, or clarity in your relationships, I’m here to help you find a path forward.

Specialist areas-  Anxiety, building self-worth, and confidence, and helping navigate relationships

Why Focus on Anxiety?
Anxiety can feel overwhelming and isolating, impacting every aspect of life. I specialise in providing strategies and insights to help you:

*Calm racing thoughts and reduce excessive worry.
*Identify and manage triggers to regain control and understanding of your emotions.
*Build self-confidence and develop healthier coping mechanisms.
*Foster a sense of balance and well-being in your daily life.

*Furthermore, help understand the role of boundaries in managing anxiety:
boundaries are vital for emotional well-being, particularly when coping with anxiety. They allow you to:

*Protect your mental and emotional health by prioritising your needs.  *Reduce stress and create space for personal growth and self-care.              *Say yes authentically and no without feeling guilty.
*Improve relationships by fostering mutual respect and understanding.

Through therapy, we will explore how setting and maintaining boundaries can support your anxiety management and improve your overall quality of life.

If you’re ready to take the first step toward managing your anxiety and creating a more balanced life, I’m here to help.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
