About me
I’m Jo, a psychological therapist with a background in mental health nursing. Perhaps you are seeking therapy due to feeling overwhelmed with work, your relationships with others, or you may be at a point of transition in your life. I can offer a calm, compassionate space in which we can make sense of what’s bringing you to therapy, and find new, more helpful ways forward.
I can help you gain a deeper understanding what's going on for you, safely explore the relationship you have with yourself and others in your life, and consider how your past life experiences have shaped your thoughts and feelings today. By developing this deeper understanding of what's going on for you and why, it allows meaningful change and a kinder relationship with yourself and others around you.
Therapy is a deeply personal experience, and so finding a therapist who is a good fit for you and you feel comfortable with is important. Speaking together on the phone will give you a sense of this. If you would like an introductory 20 minute call with me then please do get in contact.
