About me
I am a qualified and compassionate counsellor dedicated to supporting young people aged 11 to 25 as they navigate the unique challenges of adolescence and early adulthood.
My practice provides a safe, non-judgemental space where clients can explore their thoughts, feelings and experiences at their own pace.
When I was at school, I experienced my own challenges and had the opportunity to receive counselling. That experience gave me a new perspective on myself and the world around me - it helped me feel heard, understood, and better equipped to cope. It was a turning point that stayed with me.
Now, as a counsellor, I want to offer that same kind of support to other young people who may be struggling. I know how powerful it can be to have someone truly listen, and I’m passionate about creating that safe, supportive space for others.
I have particular experience in helping individuals work through a range of issues, including - but not limited to - anxiety, bereavement, and self-esteem.
I understand how overwhelming these difficulties can feel, especially during formative years, and I aim to empower my clients with tools and insights that foster resilience, confidence, and emotional well-being. My approach is warm, client-centred, and tailored to meet the specific needs of each individual. I believe in building strong, trusting therapeutic relationships that support meaningful and lasting change.
Training, qualifications & experience
I am a level 5 counsellor with a Professional Diploma in Psychotherapeutic Counselling Practice. I studied with Chrysalis.
I have previous experience in supporting children and young people aged 6 to 19, including those with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
I also have 2 years experience working with the charity Time2talk, where I worked with young people ages 11-25 on a range of issues.
