About me

I’m a warm, down‑to‑earth psychotherapeutic counsellor, drawing on both professional training and my own experience as a late‑diagnosed neurodivergent woman.

I work with people who feel overwhelmed, misunderstood, or stuck in patterns they can’t quite shift, whether that shows up as depression, anxiety, rumination, burnout, low self‑esteem, or a sense of holding yourself back.

These feelings can come from many places: childhood trauma, navigating neurodivergence, long‑term stress, or simply carrying too much for too long. They often affect relationships, confidence, and work, from fear of rejection and communication struggles to perfectionism, sensory overload, or the pressure to keep going when you’re already stretched thin.

My focus is on understanding how life feels from your side. Together, we can make sense of what’s been shaping you and find a steadier, more compassionate way forward, one that feels more free, meaningful, and true to who you are.

Training, qualifications & experience

Level 7 Diploma in Transactional Analysis Counselling and Integrative Humanistic Psychotherapy at The Berne Institute, accredited by Middlesex University.

Registered member of BACP.

PGCE in Lifelong Learning

I’ve taught and supported adult and young adult learners across women’s prisons, SEND provision, PRUs, colleges, and universities. My community teaching has also included working with mixed‑heritage community groups, including South Asian women and long‑term unemployed adults, helping to build self‑confidence, life skills, and a sense of pride. This work supported people to progress into further education, employment, or even to set up their own small businesses.

MA in Performance

City, University of London

A deep exploration of human behaviour, the subconscious, authenticity, and the devising process studying how people express themselves, protect themselves, and make meaning through the roles they learn to play.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

Accredited register membership

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy
Accredited Register Scheme

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.

Further information

I include my wider qualifications because they deepen my understanding of people, how we learn, express ourselves, rebuild confidence, and navigate complex environments. My background in teaching, performance, and community work enriches my therapeutic practice with a broader, more human perspective, allowing me to meet clients with creativity, sensitivity, and a grounded understanding of real‑life challenges.

I also work with an awareness of my own intersectionality and long experience supporting people from diverse cultural, gendered, and economic backgrounds. This helps me hold space in a way that is respectful, curious, and responsive to each person’s lived reality.
