About me
Hello and welcome to my practice.
Life can feel incredibly heavy at times, and you don't have to carry that weight on your own. My aim is to offer you a space where you feel safe enough to put some of it down, even if only for a little while. Together we can make sense of what feels overwhelming, explore what has brought you here, and gently work towards creating the changes that feel meaningful to you.
I am an integrative counsellor, which means I don't believe there is one approach that fits everyone. Instead, I work alongside you, adapting our sessions to suit your individual needs and what feels right for you. We will move at your pace, exploring whatever is holding you back or weighing on you in a way that feels manageable and compassionate. You deserve a space where you can speak openly, honestly and without fear of judgement. My role is to offer empathy, acceptance and genuine curiosity as we navigate your experiences together.
I have a particular passion for working with autistic and ADHD clients, as well as trans, non-binary and gender-diverse individuals. I understand how exhausting it can be to move through a world that doesn't always understand or celebrate who you are. Whether you're exploring your identity, navigating diagnosis, managing burnout, masking, relationships or simply trying to understand yourself more deeply, I want to offer a space where you don't have to explain or justify your experiences. You are welcome exactly as you are.
As a neurodivergent therapist, I know that every person experiences the world differently. I don't see difference as something that needs fixing. I see it as something to be understood, valued and respected. Your uniqueness is an important part of who you are, and together we can explore how your experiences have shaped you, while helping you build a life that feels more authentic and fulfilling.
Within my practice I use a variety of creative and reflective tools to help make sense of difficult emotions. I love using imagery and metaphors because they often allow us to put words to experiences that can feel impossible to describe. Sometimes our emotions are easier to understand through stories, symbols or pictures than they are through facts alone.
My work is grounded in the Person-Centred approach, meaning I believe that you are the expert on your own life. I will meet you with warmth, honesty and unconditional positive regard, accepting every part of who you are, even the parts that may feel difficult to accept yourself. Often those parts have developed for a reason, and together we can gently explore where they came from, what purpose they have served, and whether they are still serving you today.
As our work develops, we will create goals together that reflect what you hope to gain from counselling. Whether those goals are big or small, they will always be shaped by what matters most to you.
I offer a minimum of six sessions, although you are always in control of how long we work together. Every six weeks we will review our work to reflect on your progress, discuss what has been helpful and consider whether there are any areas you would like to explore further. These reviews help ensure that our work continues to meet your needs and that your voice remains at the centre of the therapeutic process.
My practice is open to everyone, regardless of your background, race, culture, sexuality, gender identity, disability, class or neurodivergence. Whatever has brought you here, you will be met with compassion, respect and acceptance. I believe that everyone deserves to be heard, understood and valued, and I would be honoured to walk alongside you as you begin your therapeutic journey.
Training, qualifications & experience
Level 7 Integrative Counsellor
I am a Level 7 qualified Integrative Counsellor with a strong academic foundation in psychology and counselling, alongside two years of therapeutic experience supporting clients through a wide range of emotional and psychological challenges.
My qualifications include a BA (Hons) in Psychology and Counselling (2:1) from Teesside University (2022) and an MA in Integrative Counselling (Merit) from Leeds Beckett University (2026). I am also a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) (Membership No. 00993596) and work in accordance with the BACP Ethical Framework.
As an integrative counsellor, I tailor therapy to each individual rather than using a one-size-fits-all approach. I draw from a range of evidence-based therapeutic models to create a safe, collaborative and compassionate space where you can explore your thoughts, emotions and experiences at your own pace.
Whether you are experiencing anxiety, depression, stress, trauma, relationship difficulties, low self-esteem, grief, or navigating life changes, I aim to provide a supportive, non-judgemental environment where you feel heard, understood and empowered to move towards meaningful and lasting change.
Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.

I offer a free 15 minute consultation prior to our sessions together. This is to see if I am the right fit for you in your therapeutic journey. How you would like to have our sessions whether that is through in person or non face to face sessions such as through the telephone or online services. For our first session I will provide a contract for you to sign which describes safe practices, payment and overall how I work as a practitioner.
