About me

Hello, I’m Jeremy.

I offer counselling that is thoughtful, grounded, and quietly insightful. My approach is to provide a calm, respectful space where you can talk openly and begin making sense of what’s going on.

I work with adults from all backgrounds and walks of life. Some come with anxiety or ongoing stress, others with relationship difficulties or periods of change. Sometimes there’s no clear label - just a sense that things aren’t sitting right. Wherever you find yourself, we begin there.

Your sessions are shaped by what you need, whether that’s gaining clarity, working towards practical changes, or understanding things more deeply.

I listen carefully and ask considered questions, helping you see things from a different angle and bringing clarity to experiences that may have felt confusing or tangled. There’s space to think, to pause, and to say things out loud that may not have been said before.

My approach is calm and down-to-earth. There’s no jargon and no pressure to talk about anything before you’re ready.

To book your first appointment, you can simply email to arrange a session or request a call if you’d prefer to talk things through first. There’s no obligation- just a straightforward first step.

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
