About me
Do you find yourself stuck in the same painful relationship patterns, feeling anxious, or carrying the impact of childhood experiences you can’t quite shake?
You might look like you’re coping on the outside, but inside things feel much harder. Maybe you’ve been through difficult experiences earlier in life - and even though you’ve moved on in many ways, something still lingers.
I specialize in working with people who are carrying the impact of trauma, particularly when it shows up as anxiety, low self-worth, or relationship difficulties.
I know that starting therapy can feel like a big step - especially if you’ve learned to manage things on your own. Many people I work with come to therapy feeling overwhelmed or stuck. Some are trying therapy for the first time, while others have tried it before and found it didn’t quite help.
We’ll gently work through what’s happened to you, make sense of why certain patterns keep repeating, and find ways to help you feel less stuck in the past and more able to move forward.
Over time, clients often begin to feel more grounded, more in control, and clearer in how they want to live their lives.
I’m Jenny, an EMDR Europe Accredited Practitioner, BABCP-accredited Cognitive Behaviour Psychotherapist and Supervisor, and Couples Therapist. I have over 15 years’ experience working in NHS mental health services, and alongside my private practice I train and supervise psychologists at doctoral level.
I offer a warm, non-judgemental and confidential space, grounded in evidence-based approaches including CBT, EMDR, CFT and ACT, tailored to your individual needs.
I offer therapy in English and Cantonese, both online and in person in Haggerston, Hackney, East London (E8), a short walk from Haggerston Station.
You’re welcome to book a free 15-minute consultation to talk through what’s been going on and see if working together feels like a good fit.

Member organisations
school Registered / Accredited
Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.
The BABCP is the lead organisation for Cognitive Behavioural Therapy in the UK. Membership is open to anyone with an interest in the practice, theory or development of CBT. BABCP also provides accreditation for CBT therapists. BABCP accredited members adhere to the Standards of Conduct, Performance and Ethics in the Practice of Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapies, and are willing to be scrutinised in this adherence as required.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
