About me

Hello and welcome to my page.

I want to sit with you, as you reconnect with your inner strength, build resilience, and move toward a life that feels meaningful, balanced, and truly your own through therapy. Beginning counselling, can feel daunting, I felt that too, and I want you to know that you don’t have to have everything figured out before you start. You simply need a space where you are seen, heard, and respected,  exactly as you are. Therapy doesn't work because I have the 'right' answers, it works because over time we work togther building a safe theraputic relationship, which allows difficult feelings, thoughts and experiences to be explored without judgement or pressure.

Your story matters. Every person’s journey is unique, and I deeply repect the individuality you bring into the therapy space. My work is guided by three core values that shape how I support you:

Heal
Offering  a calm, nurturing, and judgment-free environment where you can safely explore painful, confusing, or overwhelming experiences at your own pace. You’ll be met with warmth, empathy, compassion, and genuine respect, never pressure or expectation. Healing begins when you feel safe enough to be yourself.

Change
Together, we’ll gently explore patterns, thoughts, and experiences that may be holding you back. Through meaningful conversation, insight, and a strong foundation of trust and confidentiality, we’ll work toward real, sustainable change. Your privacy is always protected, and your trust is something I hold with great care.

Grow
Counselling isn’t only about getting through difficult moments,  it’s also about becoming more confident, grounded, and connected to who you truly are. Even when things feel unclear or heavy, I believe deeply in your capacity for growth and transformation.

Because no two people are the same, I offer an integrative, tailored approach to counselling. Rather than using a one-size-fits-all method, I draw from a range of therapeutic approaches to create support that fits you,  your experiences, your goals, and your pace.

For some clients, this may involve Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) to work with unhelpful thought patterns. For others, a person-centred approach that focuses on self-discovery and inner wisdom feels more supportive. When words feel hard to find, I also incorporate creative therapy techniques, using non-verbal and expressive tools to explore emotions in a gentle, accessible way.

What this means for you is that therapy is shaped around your needs,  not a textbook or rigid model. We will adapt and evolve our work together as you do, ensuring the support you receive truly helps you move forward with clarity, confidence, and self-compassion.

If you’re ready to take that next step, I’m here.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy
Accredited Register Scheme

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.

Areas of counselling I deal with

Other areas of counselling I deal with

I have specialist area experience supporting clients living with Parkinson’s, Multiple Sclerosis, and the effects of Stroke. Working closely with people facing life-limiting conditions has been a deeply meaningful and special part of my work. I understand that these diagnoses can affect far more than physical health, they can impact identity, confidence, relationships, independence, and emotional wellbeing.

I also offer compassionate, non-judgemental support to carers, recognising the emotional, physical, and psychological demands they often carry while caring for a loved one.

Whether you are living with a diagnosis yourself or supporting someone who is, I aim to provide a safe, understanding space where you feel heard, supported, and empowered to navigate the challenges you face at your own pace.
