Janus Wellbeing - Jennifer Collins
Hi, I'm Jen and I'm a counsellor/CBT Therapist helping clients with bereavement and loss, anxiety, and depression. I'm currently working predominantly on the telephone and online with limited face to face appointments in Peebles.
Are things just feeling out of kilter? Know something needs to change? Are you unsure what the right support is for your needs? Are you feeling anxious or low mood? Have you lost someone? Has your confidence dropped? In a year like no other, more than ever we need to focus on our mental health and wellbeing and invest in ourselves. The beauty of my practice is recognising your individualisation and tailoring how I can help with your needs through a holistic approach encompassing counselling, CBT and wellbeing. We're people, we don't fit into one neat little box! With me you'll have a warm, confidential and safe space to talk.
The last few years I've helped the majority of my clients with bereavement, loss and profound change, anxiety and low mood. I've supported men and women of all ages but perhaps you should know I'm a peri-menopausal woman, so I can appreciate the rollercoaster that women 40+ are experiencing both mentally and physically. I get it!
I hope I've given you enough of a flavour of my approach, specialities, experience and of me as a human being not just a counsellor. In order for you to be sure you want to work with me I offer a free 20 minute consultation so you can then decide if you want to go ahead. I look forward to speaking with you.
