About me
I have worked in the National Health Service (NHS) for over thirty years as a health professional. I am trained in both physical and mental health and wellbeing. I am a qualified counsellor with experience working with young people and adults especially with anxiety and depression.
As a health professional I have focussed my work on abuse and neglect and have been involved working in domestic abuse (including domestic homicides), neglect, trauma and working with clients who are neuro-diverse.
Clients reach out for counselling for a range of reasons, relationships, family, trauma, abuse, anger, addiction, feeling overwhelmed, grief, loss, domestic abuse, mental distress, work related stress, whatever the reason finding the right counsellor for you at the right time is important.
Having worked and lived abroad for over three years, this experience has given me a wider view on certain cultural understanding. My work has a focus on respect, equality and diversity.
I have been described as a compassionate counsellor and work at a relational depth to make a connection with clients.
I offer counselling in central Leamington, in quiet confidential rooms. I offer face to face, online and phone. I work locally, nationally and internationally.
I am qualified, fully insured and comply with the Information Commissioner (GDPR regulations).
I offer a free 30 mins counselling session for all new clients and I ensure my counselling is affordable by offering a limited number of sessions at a reduced rate for clients who are unwaged or on low income.
