About me

Are you struggling with anxiety? Do you wonder if you will always feel this way? Anxiety can bring feelings of panic, dread, disassociation, uncertainty, and have a vast range of physical effects on the body. If you’re feeling stressed, lost, overwhelmed, stuck, or weighed down by life’s demands—whether from relationship struggles or dating, grief, work pressure or the chaos of the world —I’m here to help you navigate these emotions.

Together, we’ll work to understand where the emotions come from, find ways to manage them, and move toward emotional stability and clarity. We’ll explore your unique challenges and develop ways to help you build a life that feels more in balance with who you are and what you truly want.

Whether these feelings have been part of your life for a while or have emerged from a difficult experience, I believe with the right support and developing an understanding of what you’re going through, positive change is possible.

I can support you with:

  • Cultivating a compassionate relationship with yourself
  • Understanding people-pleasing tendencies
  • Navigating uncertainty around your own boundaries and how to implement them
  • Learning to trust yourself and your own decisions
  • Overcoming imposter syndrome
  • Working through feelings of shame
  • Managing fear of conflict and confrontation
  • Deepening and balancing your relationships with your partner, family and friends
  • Addressing procrastination and finding motivation
  • Uncovering unconscious repeating patterns of behaviour

I know that deciding who to talk to can feel overwhelming and add to your anxiety. To support you with this, I offer a free 15-minute introductory call – this is a no-pressure opportunity for us to meet and explore if we’re a good fit. During the call, we’ll talk about what’s bringing you to therapy, and I’ll share a bit about how I work. It’s also a chance for you to ask any questions and get a feel for if I can support you.

I welcome you to book an intro call or contact me via email. I look forward to hearing from you.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

Further information

We can often feel like a burden to others. I am passionate about creating a safe, welcoming space where we can explore your inner world with curiosity and compassion. My approach is integrative, relational, and collaborative, whilst deeply respecting for your autonomy and lived experience. Our sessions are guided by what you bring, allowing us to focus on what matters most to you in the moment.

Following our call I invite you to take some time to reflect and see if continuing to sessions feels right for you. If we choose to work together, we will move at a pace that feels comfortable to you.

In our first session, we will work through a brief assessment together to help me understand your needs and what your hopes and goals for therapy might be.

I offer both short-term (8-12 sessions) and ongoing therapy to adults (18+).
