About me
I’m Jemma, a BACP registered Counsellor, Accredited Master NLP Practitioner, & Accredited Transformational Coach with over eight years experience supporting people through life transitions and mental health challenges. My aim is to help individuals reconnect with their inner strength, gain clarity, and create meaningful, lasting change.
My Approach
My approach is integrative, drawing on counselling, attachment-informed work, NLP, and transformational coaching. This allows me to support both deeper insight and lasting change. Sessions are supportive, collaborative, and focused on helping you understand patterns, reconnect with your strengths, and create practical steps to move forward.
I have experience working with grief and loss, anxiety, low mood, neurodiversity, relationship difficulties, and the impact of trauma.
I am passionate about supporting clients to better understand and work through the emotions behind the challenges they face, while also building practical and meaningful strategies to help them move forward.
I work in a trauma-informed way, focusing on helping you make sense of your experiences, develop emotional regulation, and rebuild a sense of safety and self.
I aim to offer a warm, collaborative, and non-judgemental space where you can explore your experiences at your own pace.
What is NLP?
Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) explores how our thoughts, emotions, and language shape experiences. I use it to help clients reframe limiting beliefs, manage anxiety, process challenging experiences, and build confidence, creating new perspectives and emotional resilience.
What is Transformational Coaching?
Transformational Coaching focuses on personal growth and forward movement. I help individuals identify barriers, uncover hidden strengths, and take meaningful steps toward the life they want, combining reflection with action to create clarity, purpose, and direction.
What You Can Expect
Working together, you’ll have a safe, supportive, and non-judgmental space to explore your thoughts, emotions, and patterns. Sessions are tailored to your needs, helping you gain clarity, build resilience, and take meaningful steps toward positive change. My aim is to walk alongside you as you reconnect with your strengths, discover new perspectives, and move forward with confidence and purpose.

Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
