About me

Are you feeling overwhelmed or finding life challenging at the moment?

I’m here to offer you a safe, confidential, and non-judgemental space where you can explore the reasons that brought you to counselling. Together, we’ll work at your pace, in a way that feels right for you, to help you better understand yourself and your experiences. My approach is tailored to you as an individual, because I believe your journey should reflect your unique needs and goals.

I have experience working with issues including but not limited to anxiety, panic attacks, stress, relationship issues (partner/family or friends), grief and bereavement, low confidence and self esteem, bullying, domestic abuse and self harm.

I once wondered if therapy could truly help. I questioned how talking to someone who didn’t offer advice or quick fixes would make a difference. But my own journey through therapy proved to be life-changing. It helped me work through my own issues and it sparked my passion for supporting others who might be finding life challenging.

I firmly believe that each one of us – including you – has the capacity for change within us, sometimes, we just need the right support to uncover it.

As an Integrative Counsellor, I draw on a range of therapeutic approaches to support you. My foundation is person-centred, meaning the focus is always on you and your perspective. I also integrate techniques from psychodynamic therapy, CBT, creative therapy, and psychoeducation, depending on what feels most helpful for you.

My priority is to help you feel safe, heard, and supported.

What next?

If you would like to see me, send me an enquiry and I will arrange a free 15 minute online session, for you to ask any questions you may have and for us to see if we think we will work well together, after which, we can find a session time that works for us mutually.

Where will we meet?

I have a private counselling room in Apsley, although I understand some people may prefer to meet online, so this option is also available.

I am an accredited member of the NCPS and am committed to maintaining their ethical standards and confidentiality in all areas of my counselling work.
