Integrative Counsellor MNCPS (Acc)
Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire, HP3

About me

I offer a warm, compassionate & non-judgemental space where you can feel heard, understood & supported. I understand reaching out can feel daunting so I aim to create a safe environment where you can explore your thoughts & feelings at your pace. My approach is collaborative and grounded in respect, empathy, and genuine care for your wellbeing.

I work in a person-centred and holistic way, tailoring support to suit your individual needs. I believe that you are the expert in your own life, and my role is to walk alongside you as you navigate challenges, build resilience, and work towards meaningful change.

I focus on:

Building a trusting therapeutic relationship
Supporting emotional regulation and self-understanding
Encouraging self-compassion and personal growth
Working at a pace that feels comfortable for you

I support individuals with a range of challenges, including:

Anxiety and stress
Low mood and depression
Self-esteem and confidence
Life transitions and change
Relationship issues
Domestic abuse
Emotional overwhelm
Self-esteem and confidence
Life transitions and change
Work-related stress and burnout

As an Integrative Counsellor, I draw on a range of therapeutic approaches to support you. My foundation is person-centred, meaning the focus is always on you and your perspective. I also integrate techniques from psychodynamic therapy, CBT, creative therapy, and psychoeducation, depending on what feels most helpful for you.

What to expect?

Our sessions provide a confidential, supportive space where you can talk openly without fear of judgement. Together, we can explore what’s happening for you, identify patterns, and develop practical ways forward that feel manageable and realistic.

What next?

If you would like to see me, send me an enquiry and I will arrange a free 15 minute online session to see if we’re a good fit and to discuss how I can support you.

Where will we meet?

I have a private counselling room in Apsley, Hemel Hempstead, although I understand some people may prefer to meet online, so this option is also available.

I am an accredited member of the NCPS and am committed to maintaining their ethical standards and confidentiality in all areas of my counselling work.
