Child and Adolescent Psychotherapist . UKCP (Registered)

About me

I am a UKCP registered child, adolescent and adult psychotherapist currently offering online sessions via zoom.

Psychotherapy provides a safe space for you to explore whatever is troubling you. I believe in making deep and warm connection with my clients and helping them make sense of their unwanted feelings. The goal is to overcome the obstacles that prevent you from thriving and reaching your full potential by processing your feelings.

My approach is integrative and my practice is informed by advances in neuroscience, attachment theories and trauma research together with elements of play and art therapy.

As a child and adolescent therapist, I am trained to focus on the root cause of the problems and to explore what may be going on for a child or a teenager. This is a relief for children or adolescents who feel misunderstood and also help parents to make sense of the difficulties they are going through.

I work creatively with young people or adults who struggle with anxiety, low self-worth, poor body image, self harm and depression, just to name a few.

what happens in therapy?

we connect via zoom, from the comfort of your home.  Sessions last 50 minutes during which I will support my client with whatever they wish to explore. I respect their pace and readiness to share deep and difficult feelings. This is by no means having a conversation with a friend. I use years of training and knowledge of theory to help my client explore issues.

I use mediums such as art, sand tray and games in order to connect with my young clients.

I aim to provide a non intrusive, non judgmental space for my clients where they can explore and communicate their troubling feelings and worries based on a strong trusting relationship. I support them toward developing healthy emotional lives and joyful bonds with others.

If you are interested to know more about how I work  or discuss your issues, Please email me to book a free 20 minute session. you are not obliged to start therapy with me after this short session. It is designed to give you a clearer view into what you should expect from therapy.

Hope to see you soon!
