About me

Hi, I'm Jas, a Highly Specialist Clinical psychologist experienced in working with adults, children and families. I work with people from diverse walks of life, all of whom are looking to improve how they feel and live. I offer a trauma-informed and person-centred approach to therapy, providing a compassionate therapeutic space that supports both acceptance and change. I will challenge clients if that's what they're looking for, but can also offer a safe space to just be if that is what's important right now. I work collaboratively and with the aim of helping clients feel empowered to face whatever life throws at them after therapy.

Training, qualifications & experience

I'm a qualified clinical psychologist and have over ten years of clinical experience. My speciality is working with people that have experienced adverse life events, as adults or children. I provide a thorough assessment, followed by a therapeutic intervention (e.g. CBT, ACT, DBT, EMDR, Schema informed, IFS) that we agree on collaboratively. I also provide ADHD and challenging behaviour assessments for young people, including PBS plans.

HCPC
Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)

The HCPC are an independent, UK-wide health regulator. They set standards of professional training, performance and conduct for 16 professions.

They keep a register of health professionals who meet their standards, and they take action if registered health professionals fall below those standards. They were created by a piece of legislation called the Health Professions Order 2001.

Registration means that a health professional meets national standards for their professional training, performance and conduct.
