About me

There are times in life which can be difficult and painful and having someone to come alongside you can be very helpful and supportive. Some people view reaching out to others as a sign of weakness. However, I see it takes great courage to make the initial step (sometimes the hardest) and shows incredible strength.

I provide a safe and confidential space to explore your feelings, broaden your perspective and develop greater self-awareness. I offer face to face sessions in the comfort of my home setting. I also offer zoom or telephone for those who live further away or prefer not to be in person, for whatever reason. It is important to get the right counsellor for you and with that in mind, I offer a free telephone consultation whereby you can ask questions and we can begin to determine whether we can work together.

As an integrative counsellor I seek to bring different approaches to help individual client needs. I have experience working with approaches such as Person Centred Counselling, Gestalt Therapy, Creative interventions, Mindfulness, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and have completed a Level1 in Internal Family Systems modality.

Training, qualifications & experience

BA (hons) counselling awarded by Middlesex University

My recent continued professional development has included training on trauma, in particular looking at triggers, flashbacks and integrating traumatic memories. Other training includes the use of creative interventions within therapy as well as developing a greater understanding of the value of self-compassion.
