Life can be challenging, sometimes it can feel really tough and leave us with a sense of helplessness and despair. Issues or problems in your life can trigger anxiety, for example being out of work, or working long hours that can lead to extreme fatigue. Maybe you are feeling under pressure to deliver what's expected of you. Perhaps you are having difficulties with relationships. It could be that you are simply feeling that something just isn't right. There are many issues that life can throw at us and these difficulties in your life can be hard to manage.

I am a qualified and experienced integrative counsellor and can offer you professional help, whilst also providing a high quality service which is tailored to your individual needs. I will encourage you to talk openly without being judged, offering you a professional therapeutic space, that is safe to explore your concerns. As we build a trusting and open relationship where you will know that you have been heard and understood, we will work together towards a positive way forward, and help you find balance in your life.

I have many years experience of working for the NHS in a clinical role, this then led to supporting individuals and families through various life experiences within the community. I feel privileged to have supported those individuals and their families through difficult periods. I believe each person is unique and has the ability for growth and change. As a qualified integrative therapist I will draw on a combination of theories that are best suited to you. I have experience of working with a wide range of issues including, ADHD, bereavement, anxiety, depression, sudden loss, domestic abuse, and many other presenting issues. My work comprises of working with adults and young people through a local charity as well as seeing private clients.

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy

BACP is one of the UK’s largest professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy. Therapists registered with the Association fall into a number of different membership categories such as Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP and Registered Member MBACP (Accred), each standing for different levels of training and experience. MBACP (Accred) and MBACP (Snr Accred) members have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by the Association.

Registered members can be found on the BACP Register, which was the first register to achieve Accredited Voluntary Register status issued by the Professional Standards Authority. Individual Members will have completed an appropriate counselling and/or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but will not appear on the BACP Register until they've progressed to Registered Member MBACP status.

All members are bound by a Code of Ethics & Practice and a Complaints Procedure. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
