About me

I am a Registered Arts Therapist with further training in a range of Counselling techniques such as CBT, Talking Therapies, DDP and Theraplay. (please see below).

I can support you (adult or child)  to find what you need to begin to move forwards,  if you are  struggling with difficulties such as;

  • Low self esteem

  • Depression
  • Trauma
  • Anger
  • A diagnosis (or suspected) of ADHD or similar

I have over 20 years of experience working with adults, children and families helping people to be comfortable with who they are now and to work towards what they want to be into their future.  I use both talking therapies (person centred, CBT skills etc) and as an Arts Therapist I also harness creative methods to support the individual process.  I work Online and in Person.

You are welcome call, email, or book a call to discuss your needs further in a free telephone consultation.

I have particular training and 11 years of experience working a CAMHS service (child adolescent mental health) and I am happy to work with child centric and family issues such as;

  • Behavioural problems
  • School difficulties
  • Attachment
  • Friendships
  • Anxiety
  • Low mood
  • Confidence

Online Parent Coaching is available to support families where a child is struggling.

I am friendly and non threatening in my approach, helping to put all at ease and progress with confidence.   Where apropriate I work alongside parents to help them understand and support their children.

Wheelchair user access
Wheelchair user access

Wheelchair-accessible premises should have step-free access for wheelchair users and individuals who are unable to climb stairs. If a Counsellor's premises aren't step-free, they may offer alternative services such as telephone/web-based appointments, home visits, or meeting clients in different location, so you can choose the option that suits you best.

You can contact the Counsellor to discuss the options available.

Under the Equality Act 2010 service providers have a duty to make reasonable adjustments to ensure that individuals with disabilities can access their service. You can read more about reasonable adjustments to help you to access services on the CAB website.

There is a step up and the down into the therapy room. I have had some people in manual wheelchairs enter. Electric chair would struggle. I’m in the process of arranging a ramp.
