I'm a Counselling Psychologist and owner of Sight InMind. I am an integrative therapist which means I offer an individualised therapeutic service for you to explore your specific challenges, support you to alleviate distress and to see improvements in your mental health. I understand the complexities of mental health and its often profound impact on your overall wellbeing and day-to-day functioning. I am dedicated to providing a safe and supportive environment for you to explore your thoughts, feelings and behaviours. Training, qualifications & experience

I studied at the University of Manchester. I gained experience through training at MacMillan Wellbeing Centre at Trafford General Hospital, The Priory Hospital at Cheadle Royal and Tameside, Oldham and Glossop Mind.

Experience

I am qualified and experienced in CBT, Person-Centred Therapy and using an Integrative psychotherapy approach. I am also trained in EMDR. The integrative approach is informed by the Pluralistic Framework, CBT, and third-wave CBT approaches (for example, DBT). Currently working as a sessional counsellor for a local charity as well as a private practitioner.

HCPC
Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)

The HCPC are an independent, UK-wide health regulator. They set standards of professional training, performance and conduct for 16 professions.

They keep a register of health professionals who meet their standards, and they take action if registered health professionals fall below those standards. They were created by a piece of legislation called the Health Professions Order 2001.

Registration means that a health professional meets national standards for their professional training, performance and conduct.
