About me

Anxiety, fear & hopelessness are some emotions that can linger after traumatic events, again I can help you overcome these symptoms.  I can also offer the "Rewind & Re-framing Technique" for PTSD and phobias.

Loss of a loved one or the diagnosis of a life limiting condition is a devastating event & the pain of this sometimes unbearable. Feelings of guilt, anger & grief can become apparent & each individual responds differently. I am here to help you through your concerns of the future. This area is a particular specialism for me.

As an Integrative Counsellor I offer different techniques from the Person Centred, Gestalt & Transactional Analysis approaches within a recognised framework.  I am also a qualified Hypnotherapist.

I like to work with individuals from all walks of life & think of myself as a caring, nurturing Counsellor helping others find their inner self & be their own autonomous person. Using a creative side I can also work using different mediums & tools within sessions & have gained extra insight & knowledge through attending Creative workshops.

Further information

I will be working online with sessions via Zoom and also Walk & Talk sessions (weather dependent) in my local vicinity.

Working online is just as effective as face to face and has worked exceedingly well with all my clients.

I continue to enjoy this mode of working, as visually it is good to see whom you are talking to, from both sides of the camera.  This method of counselling is also boundary free, wherever you live in the UK.
