About me
Hello, I’m Jana, a BACP-registered counsellor offering online counselling and therapy for mothers across the UK.
I specialise in supporting women who feel overwhelmed, anxious, emotionally exhausted, or disconnected from themselves after having children. You may appear to be coping on the outside, while internally feeling burnt out, irritable, emotionally drained, or unsure of who you are anymore.
Many mothers experience anxiety, stress, emotional overwhelm, low self-esteem, or a loss of identity after motherhood. You may find yourself constantly overthinking, putting everyone else’s needs first, or struggling to switch off and relax.
These experiences are more common than many women realise — and you don’t have to manage them alone.
How I can help
I primarily support:
Mothers experiencing anxiety, stress, or emotional overwhelm
Women struggling with identity changes after motherhood
Clients feeling burnt out, emotionally exhausted, stuck, or disconnected from themselves
Mothers navigating postnatal emotional challenges and major life transitions
Women experiencing low confidence, people-pleasing, or difficulty setting boundaries
Clients looking for online counselling for anxiety, motherhood stress, or emotional support
How I work
Our sessions are a space where you can reflect on your thoughts and feelings, at a pace that feels right for you, without expectation or pressure. I work in a person-centred way, meaning sessions are guided by you and what feels most important to you.
Together, we can explore anxiety, overwhelm, frustration, and the emotional impact of motherhood. Over time, many clients begin to feel:
Less overwhelmed
More emotionally balanced
Clearer about their needs and boundaries
More like themselves again
Online therapy (flexible & accessible)
I work exclusively online (video or telephone), supporting clients across the UK.
Online therapy allows you to access support in a way that fits around your life— whether that’s during nap times, evenings, or from the comfort of your own space, without the need to travel.
Bilingual support
I am bilingual in English and Slovak, and I offer counselling sessions in either language. This can be especially helpful if you feel more comfortable expressing yourself in your first language or if you are navigating cross-cultural experiences, family pressures, or life transitions.

Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
