Jan Reeve UKCP Registered Psychotherapist
Hello, I’m Jan…welcome to my profile page. As an experienced psychotherapist and counsellor, I've helped many people over the years with a wide range of issues.
"I saw Jan for just over 6 months and cannot recommend her enough. She is incredibly supportive, professional, and non-judgmental. Talking to her enabled me to learn about myself and realise and action the changes I needed to make to improve my own mental health.
During the course of the time I was attending weekly sessions with Jan I ended a long term relationship with my partner who I owned a house with, made large decisions about my career and decided to move away, all decisions I am incredibly happy. I was able to make these rationally, with reduced fear and anxiety because of the support I received.
To be clear, Jan doesn't force her own opinions on you, but enables you to realise what you actually want by cutting through emotional baggage. Jan is warm and friendly and very easy to talk to, and her practice space is also very comfortable and welcoming. I am very grateful to have worked with Jan, I felt truly seen, heard and safe with her."
These are just some of the reasons that bring people to consider counselling or psychotherapy..
- Perhaps you have anxiety or stress in your life, either at work or personal?
- Or do you have problems with relationships in your life?
- Maybe you are feeling in a low mood, or at a crossroads in your life, or stuck, and not sure which way to turn?
- Are emotional issues holding you back, or are fears and anxieties bringing obstacles into your daily life?
- Or you could have experienced trauma, or abuse in your life that you need help to resolve

I have many years of experience as a Psychotherapist, a Counsellor, Life Coach and also a Supervisor of other therapists. For some people a short period of therapy is sufficient to bring about the changes they need or want, whilst for others a longer period of therapy may be more beneficial. You may have a minor issue, and would like to make some positive changes, or there could be more extensive issues from your past, that will need more time to work through.
Please feel free to get in touch if you have any questions or would like to have a chat.
