About me
I have worked for many years helping my clients to accept themselves for who they are and how they survive in the hidden world that goes on inside their heads, the world where fear holds them back and keeps them stuck. The world we are all familiar with, the place we go when we put our heads on our pillows at night and we know! I believe that through honest exploration, reflection and acceptance of our past, we can start to accept ourselves and begin to build our self-esteem, self-respect, our confidence and compassion for ourselves. We can embrace the parts of us that work and let go of the parts that don't, we can change.
Training, qualifications & experience
I'm Jamie Bird MBACP and NSCP, a fully qualified therapist with over 10 years' experience working with behaviours and attitudes that cause difficulties in everyday life and relationships. I offer therapy to individuals. I believe that you already know what IT is but, may not know how to say it without feeling judged or criticised. A little guidance can help.

Further information
Through exploration of your family systems, dynamics and the roles you play in life, you can discover so much about yourselves, things that you just accept and perhaps why. Hidden parts that often cause you to feel shame and guilt parts that may belong to someone else, are afraid to say what you think and feel, ever get frustrated because you always put yourself second best.
