About me
Many people come to therapy feeling burdened by anxiety, self-criticism or emotional overwhelm. You may have spent much of your life feeling different, misunderstood or not fully at ease in yourself or your relationships, perhaps struggling with a sense of not being good enough or somehow not fitting in. You might be trying to make sense of difficult past experiences, feeling stuck in familiar patterns, or struggling with how you see yourself and relate to others. If you suspect or know that ADHD or another form of neurodivergence is part of your experience, you may also be looking for support in understanding yourself more fully.
I believe the relationship we build in therapy is central to meaningful change. I aim to offer a supportive and non-judgemental space where you can safely explore your experiences at a manageable pace. My approach is relational and integrative, drawing on humanistic and psychodynamic traditions, while remaining informed by contemporary research into topics such as trauma and neurodiversity.
Rather than offering fixed interpretations or working from a single theoretical model, I aim to remain curious and thoughtful, working collaboratively with you to explore what feels meaningful and authentic. Over time, this process can help you develop a greater sense of self-understanding and self-compassion, strengthen your inner resources, and move towards a life that feels more connected, peaceful, and fulfilling.
Training, qualifications & experience
I am a UKCP-registered psychotherapist, holding an MSc in Psychotherapy. Alongside this, I hold an LLM in Health Care Ethics and Law, which reflects my interest in thoughtful, ethical, and evidence-informed practice.
I have experience working with adults across a wide range of ages, both online and in person.
Member organisations
school Registered / Accredited
Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.
The UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP) is a leading professional body for the education, training and regulation of psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors. Its register is accredited by the government's Professional Standards Authority.
As part of its commitment to protect the public, it works to improve access to psychotherapy, to support and disseminate research, to improve standards and to respond effectively to complaints against its members.
UKCP standards cover the range of different psychotherapies. Registration is obtained by training or accrediting with one of its member organisations, or by holding a European Certificate in Psychotherapy. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
