Welcome to my counselling page.
I offer short and long term counselling to adults in a calm and non judgemental environment. The first session is free of charge, which allows you to see how the counselling process is for you, before continuing.
Whatever you are finding difficult at this moment in time i offer a warm compassionate and non-judgemental approach to therapy.
I have extensive experience supporting people of all ages, these issues may be:

I have considerable experience working around issues relating to Addiction. I am currently working as an Addiction Therapist in a residential treatment centre in Surrey. Which includes working with clients who have experience issues relating to the abuse of drugs and alcohol, gambling, sex and love addiction, depression and anxiety, abuse of prescription drugs and co-dependency. In addition to working with clients who are in active addiction entering into recovery I also work with families affected by addiction in the form of 1:1 work and also group therapy.
I have experience as a bereavement counsellor at a local hospice in West Sussex working with people who have experienced the loss of a loved one. This can be a very difficult time and through sessions can allow for the chance to process thoughts and feelings and the opportunity to heal.

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy
BACP is one of the UK’s largest professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy. Therapists registered with the Association fall into a number of different membership categories such as Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP and Registered Member MBACP (Accred), each standing for different levels of training and experience. MBACP (Accred) and MBACP (Snr Accred) members have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by the Association.
Registered members can be found on the BACP Register, which was the first register to achieve Accredited Voluntary Register status issued by the Professional Standards Authority. Individual Members will have completed an appropriate counselling and/or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but will not appear on the BACP Register until they've progressed to Registered Member MBACP status.
All members are bound by a Code of Ethics & Practice and a Complaints Procedure. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

Areas of counselling I deal with
Free Introductory Session
Choosing a counsellor is a very important decision therefore I offer our first session free to see how we can work together before committing to ongoing work together.
Further sessions are £40.00 per session weekly, which lasts 50 minutes. I also offer Telephone and Skype sessions if more convenient.
I offer home visits at £45.00 per session, which lasts 50 minutes.
For counselling students, I offer weekly counselling based on your institutions individual requirements of £30.00 per session.
