About me

Need help with Anxiety or Depression?
Feeling Angry, Exhausted, Stuck or Overwhelmed?
Seeking counselling is a big step, and finding the right counsellor for you is the key to success.

Life is so busy with many competing pressures. We face seemingly impossible situations through loss or trauma. Its easy to become lost or overwhelmed and start to struggle. Often we cant talk to friends and family, and we can start to feel alone, anxious or stuck. We need support.

Please call/email me for your FREE 30min consultation, or visit my website to see if you feel my approach will work for you.

Training, qualifications & experience

I’m experienced in both Brief Therapy (6-12 sessions) and Longer Term (Open Ended) Therapy, whichever you prefer.

Im fully BACP registered with my own Private Practice, and providing Brief Therapy in the NHS.

Im mainly Person-Centred, but also offer Integrative elements where appropriate, using tools and techniques from other therapies like CBT, ACT etc.

Im a Humanist, I believe we are all unique, but equally valuable as human beings above all else.  Regardless of age, sex, race, religion, gender, or sexuality;  life can be tough and we can all struggle at times.

I can be there with you, providing safe confidential non-judgemental support. Together we can work through your difficulties, to help you find a solution which really works for you.

Member organisations

BACP

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy

BACP is one of the UK’s largest professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy. Therapists registered with the Association fall into a number of different membership categories such as Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP and Registered Member MBACP (Accred), each standing for different levels of training and experience. MBACP (Accred) and MBACP (Snr Accred) members have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by the Association.

Registered members can be found on the BACP Register, which was the first register to achieve Accredited Voluntary Register status issued by the Professional Standards Authority. Individual Members will have completed an appropriate counselling and/or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but will not appear on the BACP Register until they've progressed to Registered Member MBACP status.

All members are bound by a Code of Ethics & Practice and a Complaints Procedure. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
