About me

Individual Counselling:

Are you looking for a bit of assistance to navigate some of life’s challenges? Are you feeling stuck or dissatisfied in your life? Perhaps you are feeling anxious or low. I offer a supportive and non-judgmental space for you to explore the meanings and underlying reasons for the patterns of thinking, feeling,  or behaving that are holding you back. I specialize in anxiety, relationship concerns, addiction, stress, and expat issues. I also have have experience working with a range of issues, including: depression, low self-esteem, and trauma.

Each session costs £50-60, lasts 50 minutes, and usually takes place weekly. Sessions are in-person or over Zoom/Skype/Microsoft Teams.

Relationship Counselling:

My approach is rooted in fostering open communication, deep empathy, and mutual understanding, whether I'm working with couples in conventional relationships or those in diverse arrangements. I create a safe and judgment-free space where partners can explore their feelings, navigate challenges, and co-create a path forward. With a commitment to promoting healthy connections, I celebrate the spectrum of love while guiding couples towards building stronger, more resilient bonds, regardless of the form their love takes.

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).

Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.

Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.

All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
